I kept upgrading the OSs till High Sierra, expecting the problem would go - but nothing happened over the years of updates. Notes app hangs! I am sure Apple should pay attention to this, and I can give remote access (if that is possible) to Apple support to learn the issue I am paying.įor the last years, I am using Mac (I was 20+ yrs in Windows), and my pain makes me think to switch back which is the last thing I would do. When the articles go beyond a couple of thousand characters the story goes worse. Again, I need to delete more words to retype. If I delete, weird characters started appearing. It pastes the previous word I typed automatically. 
One of the major issues I face is selecting, deleting a word, and inserting a word. Some of the issues cannot be explained in writing - But I am very much sure Tamil is not working well in Mac. I see weird behaviors for the last two years in Notes (which I use for writing articles). I am a writer, use my Mac extensively for long write-ups in my native language (Tamil Unicode)īut, After upgrading to Yosemite couple of years ago Typing has become a big headache.
